Welcome to the on-line home of Common Heart, Common Cupboard, and the annual gathering of missional Christians known as Outside the Gate. Watch for news of our new missional resource, Common Things.

Common Cupboard is a food pantry from which followers of Jesus and local churches draw to help folks in need. In July of 2006 we were just 4 friends helping a few dozen people. Today we are about 85 people from around 25 churches serving nearly 1,000 people monthly. For more information click here --> Common Cupboard

Common Heart is just a grassroots network of followers of Jesus from various local churches in the Monroe, Matthews and Mint Hill area of North Carolina. Our mission is summed up in the phrase "Together Learning to Serve". For more information click here --> Common Heart

Outside the Gate is an annual gathering of missional Christians held in October. Its goal is to encourage, inspire, motivate and equip us as followers of Jesus to live lives connected to the mission of God in the world today. Our desire is to facilitate new ways of engaging the emerging culture and to break out of the four walls of our churches so we can be the message of Jesus to the world.
